We often worry about the future.
We often lament the past.
While we are somewhere, our mind is elsewhere.
While we are in this moment, our mind travels through our memories and imagination.
But no matter where our mind is, our body is always right here.
Things can only be happening right now.
Life is right now.
By bringing the mind back to the body, we cultivate presence.
Through presence, we no longer lament the past or fear the future.
Through the absence of fear and lamentation, we grow peace.
And through peace, all things blossom.
Allow yourself a moment of genuine presence today.
Wherever you go, be there.
