Go Outside

"The wise find pleasure in water; the virtuous find pleasure in hills."

- Confucius

Dear Reader,

There are few things more beautiful and more conducive to joy than the natural world around us.

Noticing the simple beauty of a small flower can teach you more about happiness than 100 books.

Bringing your attention to a flowing stream can teach you more about the nature of reality than studying doctrine for hours.

The nature of the universe is present within even the smallest leaf up to the tallest mountain. It will reveal itself to you if you know how to look deeply.

I invite you to spend some time outside today. Bring your attention to the beauty, peace, and serenity around you. Notice the smallest blade of grass, a bird's song, or the rays of the sun.

It is nearly impossible to feel anything but contentment when you are engulfed in nature's embrace.

Today's Reflection:

What do you love most about being nature? Can you afford to spend a little bit more time outside?

Wishing you peace, love, and joy.

Your friend,
