Tao Meditations

The Greatest Unseen Power

"The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones."

- Confucius

Dear Reader,

Not too long ago, I had the pleasure of visiting the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Its natural beauty is unlike anything I've seen before.

But what it taught me was another thing entirely.

A canyon that deep, that wide, and that beautiful, was carved by the simple act of water flowing.

Now, water flowing isn't anything spectacular. We see it every day, in our kitchens, in rain gutters, and in small streams.

So how did something so mundane create something so beautiful?

Because the change was slow, gradual, and took place over the course of millions of years.

The most beautiful results come from small actions repeated consistently. Ancient masters have known this for years.

Moving one stone doesn't look like it changes anything, but move enough stones, and you've changed the entire topography of a mountain.

Flowing water doesn't change anything for a time, but let it flow for long enough, and you'll carve the Grand Canyon.

Such is the power of consistency.

You do not need to take a giant leap. You only need to take small steps consistently.

That's why I created a journey to help you do just that.

Each day you'll be given one teaching to reshape your mind, a reflection, and a practice to implement.

When these small steps are taken consistently, they form the foundation of a calmer, happier life.

Let's take this next step together.

Peace, love, and joy to you.
